Upon receiving a diploma in Painting Restoration in Florence with a Master in Museology and attaining an undergraduate degree in Swedish Literature at the University of Stockholm, I spent a number of years dedicating myself to the restoration and conservation of artistic heritage.

From 1996 until 2011, I held the position of Curator of the Artistic Heritage of the Province of Milan, and from 1997 until 2004, I taught Restoration Techniques at the Laboratory of Modern and Contemporary Art Restoration at the Brera Academy of Milan, where I also held the position of Member of the Board of Directors of the Brera Academy for two terms.

As of 1995, I have been an Expert for the Court of Milan, in charge of both civil and criminal sections, and registered with the Register of Experts of the Court of Milan under no. 9479 in the CIVIL Section, VALUABLES AND JEWELS Category, specialising in valuables, antiques, paintings and frames from the 15th to the 19th century – works of art, paintings on canvas and wood from the 15th to the 19th century.

I have frequently collaborated with art magazines as Editor of sections on restoration, stylistic analysis and appraisal; I have participated in various conferences as Speaker and Art Critic, in the capacity of expert on the restoration and conservation of ancient, modern and contemporary works of arts.

I collaborate with the Carabinieri police unit for the protection of artistic heritage and provide advice to leading Insurance Companies. In addition, I am the Curator of important Private Collections.

I speak and write English, French, Swedish and German fluently.
